Description: Naoko runs out onto the balcony to try and catch a paper airplane, which was made by her future husband Jiro. After falling in love, Jiro suddenly learns that Naoko has been diagnosed with tuberculosis. Despite her illness, however, they decide to get married, as they cannot bear to be separated. As a result of their faith in each other, Jiro is filled with the renewed energy and purpose he needed to finally create his first successful fighter airplane.
