For younger readers, we’ve built a vibrant and interactive reading experience designed to build up reading foundations and foster a love of reading. For older readers who want practice with AP level reading, we’ve created an intensive and rewarding course targeted at boosting your critical thinking and analysis skills. What you’ll get

Phonics Basics

For our K-5 students, we’ll incorporate dedicated phonics practice in every lesson to ensure our readers’ foundations are strong and present. Reading isn’t guesswork, but new words shouldn’t be daunting. We’ll practice understanding how different letter combinations make different (or similar) sounds as well as break down multisyllabic words with sound boxes for young readers.

Consistent Practice

Practice is key to improving as a reader, which is why our program accounts for two 60-minute lessons a week. Whether you’re just learning to read or ready to take on challenging AP passages, you need consistent exposure to different books and passages to exercise your mind. But don’t worry, we’ve built in breaks and engagement activities because studying isn’t all there is to life.

Everyone learns at a different pace, which is why our lessons are one-on-one and crafted around the student, not the teacher. No matter your needs, we’ll do our best to accommodate. Reading shouldn’t be scary, and with the right books and guiding hand, it can become your new favorite hobby.

Bi-weekly Reading Buddy

This lesson plan is designed for our younger readers who may need just an extra push to get into reading. Students will only be meeting once every two weeks for a duration of your choosing. Basic phonics lessons will be built into reading time, but these meetings will not be as structured around building fluency but rather around joyful reading.

Weekly Reading Class

Designed for both beginner and AP-level readers, these one-on-one reading lessons constitute two 1-hour lessons each week. We recommend at least three weeks to solidify reading foundations, but these lessons are completely customizable around your schedule and needs

One Month Book Program

Join your instructor for a month-long reading program that meets twice a week for 60-minutes lessons. At the end of each week, readers take a few simple diagnostic assessments to measure growth. Additionally, readers will receive personal notebooks to log reading and receive achievement “badges” to build a fun reading experience.
